Film Festival Log: First Entry

Loyal Film Fans,

It is I, Film Processing Girl, the one who has been hunched over a hot keyboard (hot from typing so fast for so many hours of so many days…) in the janitorial closet of the National Museum of Women in the Arts with my dear and only friends, Mop and Broom. These are the kinds of sacrifices we make in the name of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the name of Film and the name of Festival. Today June 29th, marks the day we have entered all of your submissions into our database – our film database is COMPLETELY COMPLETE! … and I am going home for the first time in 2 months.

We do hate to break the hearts of any filmmakers who just came across a call for entries buried at the bottom of a bulletin board but the deadline has passed! Keep in mind that this is not the last film festival, THERE WILL BE MORE FILM FESTIVALS IN THE WORLD! So relax, get some popcorn, turn on your TV set, and watch a film!
